War divides, yet the Kartarpur Corridor, also known as the "Corridor to Peace," unites. Another tale of a family torn apart during the Indo-Pak war in 1971 finds its heartwarming resolution at Gurudwara Sri Darbar Sahib, Kartarpur Corridor. Amidst a blend of emotions encompassing happiness and sorrow, two families come together.

Amina Bibi, also known as Veero, and Mr. Muhammad Boota from Aliyabad, Pakistan, reunite with their nephew, Mr. Hans Raj, from Batala, India, and their niece, Mrs. Puro Devi, also from Batala, India, on August 24, 2023. Amina Bibi, who embraced Islam in 2000, expresses her contentment at meeting her brother's children, despite being unable to see her brother. Mr. Muhammad Boota shares that meeting his nephews was a lifelong desire, one fulfilled before the embrace of death.

Both families extend their gratitude to the Government of Pakistan and the Project Management Unit of the Kartarpur Corridor for inaugurating this corridor. They attribute their reunion to the relentless efforts of the Pakistani government and the facilities offered by the Kartarpur Corridor's Project Management Unit. Their cherished moments of reunion are owed to these collaborative initiatives.
